"It Could Happen To You", it sounds sort of "hazzy" to me, unless this is what it is supposed to sound like... Even some of his early stuff sounds better... Love it all the same, could just be my sys.
Follow Ups:
There's a terrific compilation album of Chet's at Starbucks right now titled "Chet Baker--Too Cool". It's outstanding.
Can't comment on this one but one of here is one of my favorites. Late in his career and with all of his demons he still sounds pretty good. Excellent sound on this cd BTW.
get this album "It Could Happen To You", brilliant to my ears. The question was about sound quality that is why i did not post in the Music forum. Maybe time to bust out for the JVC xrcd version.Good to hear from some Chet fans, not too popular around here?
Peace out.
Kidding me? I love Chet Baker. What a great talent, and what a waste of a great talent. Want to have a 'drug discussion' with your kids? Just show them before/after photos of Chet's formerly movie-star-handsome countenance. Most of my listening is on vinyl, so I didn't reply. But don't take my silence to mean dislike! (-:
So whats the vinyl version of this album, if you dont have it, great album!Peace out!
