room Treatment has the potential of improving your audio listening experience more than anything else. Speakers are second and all other equipment is a distant third. You'll never realize the potential of your equipment without a good acoustic listening environment. But if you're the type listener than enjoys music for itself - spend all your money on software.

The room really dosen't sound that bad.. I am just curious if the treatment is worth the expense. I am running Salk Veracity HT 3 speakers with a Modwright swl 9.0 SE preamp and Channel Island D-200 power amps. And a Exemplar Denon 3910 DVD player.
How do you know if the room is good or bad? For myself, the only way I could tell for sure was to do some acoustic treament and listen for the differences. And there were plenty in my situation. It is marvelous what room tunes, Risch quick and dirty bass traps and a tube trap or two can do. Much more than an equalizer. And then your room is ready for whatever new equipment you may get in the future
What do you guy's think about the eight nerve stuff.
It takes a lot of nerve for you to ask that question. Actually, I have no idea what you are talking about.
