Last time was summer 1985 when my left tibia and fibula lost an argument with someone's front bumper at a busy intersection that had lost power (flashing four way stop light) on a hectic Saturday morning traffic day. Still own the bike (1977 Honda CB550F) but it hasn't been ridden since.

Just in case you weren't aware.....both bikes, and protective gear, have come a long way since then. That doesn't negate really hard impacts and most bone fractures, but it is still worth noting.
Those are photos from what is known as "Black Bike Week," held in Myrtle Beach, SC every year.

See what? I stared at those photos for five minutes before realizing there were motorcycles shown, let alone notice nobody was wearing a helmet.
