Find exactly what I want, quick. Place order. CD's arrive at my door. Luv it!
Follow Ups:
the isles, actually looking & touching, music playing in the backround, possibly stiking up a conversation with a real person that might share a common interest. Now, I dig the internet also and I do buy music online, but nothing beats the personal touch IMO.
I still browse and listen to CD's at Barnes & Noble but I can do the same online and find exactly what I want a lot quicker... and save some money too and have the goods delivered to my door.I like being able to audition tunes at any odd hour of the night in the comfort of my boxer shorts and with my own clean headphones on!
I suppose if I were retired and had more leisure time, I would enjoy physically hunting down music to buy but my weekends are often spent browsing the isles at Home Depot or Costco and taking care of "honey do" projects.
I can get all this done AND have my music too, thanks to the internet. ;-)
It was more enjoyable. Peaches would even open CDs and let you listen to them thru head phones.Talk to a real person. What's that?
When i was a child i went outside to play or work every day. A rainy day was the pits. I seldom see chilren playing outside any more.
Jus kiddn about the gettin old part. You could listen to those cds at peaches about 8-10 years ago.
