Hi--Could someone suggest good home theater receivers in the $300 range? I'm planning to buy Paradigm Atom/Titan speakers to connect to them.
Follow Ups:
I've had good luck with mid-priced Harman Kardon ht receivers. JR.com has one on sale for $350.
My son just bought the HK receiver recommended in the Stereophile list.He got it from JR at a good price. It is a very good one with excellent tuner. With a pair of Polk RTi4 speakers, his system sounds very clear and clean.
Yamaha is my preference. I have the Z9 processor and it is superb for multi-channel uses including SACD DVD-A as well as movies. The tuner is very good too.
Yamaha makes good recievers. You can't go wrong with Denon or Onkyo either. Not sure what you can get into for $300, but you can do nicely for $400 for all 3 brands. (Yamaha, Onkyo, Denon)
The sub $200 Yamaha or Sony at Best Buy is super dee duper IMO! I own both.
