It's not the numbers that count, it's the fact that they are appearing on 2nd hand markets. Each 2nd hand resonator is a lost sale. If you read threads where these thingies are discussed the opinions and listening impressions are not always positive, even among audiophiles: "been to the demo, heard no difference, too expensive anyway."When does the effect appear in scientific/technical publications ?

Klaus I seem to have lost the point of our discussion. Personally, I wouldn’t use other people's listening impressions and opinions in an attempt to refute someone else’s listening impressions and opinions. By that’s just my opinion.
It's perfectly possible that some people hear an effect of these cups and others don't, so who's right. Of course one cannot say that because the first group of people doesn't hear anything the other group is imagining things, here we are in total agreement. However, and like always, subjective impressions under non-controlled listening conditions are just that, subjective and as such no proof of anything.
...are proof of something for the subject.I have a new invention. It's a special light bulb that makes every painting look better. I've tested it out on every painting I own and I prefer the look of each painting with my new wonder light. My wife does as well. Matter of fact, we actually look better under it too.
I showed it to my neighbor to see if he would see what we were seeing. I didn’t say anything, just check out this new painting. First I used an ordinary bulb. After a few minutes we went into another room. I switched the bulb without him noticing and before he left I asked him to take another look at the painting.
I said "What do you think?" He replied "I thought so the first time I saw it, but now I’m sure - That is one ugly painting."
May I have a couple of those bulbs, pleeeeeze! At my age refurbishing the outer self can't do any harm. Or can it?
But you're right, it sure does prove something, subjectively that is.

I hear ya.Just wait a little while and some will inevitably turn up on the used market ;-)
Goodness KlausR if, as the tone of your post indicates, you're genuinely concerned for the poor company because the few items you've located on the used market represent lost sales, then please don't ever look at AudiogoN... I doubt this site could bear all the melodramatic posts bemoaning the plight of myriad manufactures that would surely ensue were you to do so!
