I second the recommendation for Bradford's in Eugene. They've been taking good care of me for twenty years. And if you like classical music be sure to pop in next door and see Don at the Musique Gourmet. We are very fortunate to have access to such an excellent record (CD) store.
And the weather is fine just now! Rick
My wife and I went down the Oregon coast highway last year in May and had a great time. Wonderful scenery, interesting people, and excellent salmon to go along with the Rogue beer. I wish we were doing the trip again this year. I hope this year's springtime catch is as good as last year's.
Glad you enjoyed our state. Sadly there is virtually no salmon season this year in Oregon. The return from the Klamath River was so low that the limit has been set below the level that is economically viable for much of our fleet in an attempt to keep the species viable.Outside of that we're as "interesting" (love the term) as ever and the beer and music are ever bit as good.
In Portland:Teri @ Stereotypes (www.stereotypes.com) and Kurt @ Echo Audio (www.echohifi.com) are great people and a visit to their shops would be worthwhile.
In Eugene:
Dale & Chris down at Eugene Hi Fi (www.eugenehifi.com) are also really good guys.
Bradford's and Thompson's Bradford's does a lot of two channel new equipment, and Thompson's is strictly used.
