is the only way for us 2 channel lovers hear everything on DSOTM.I really was hoping this DVD-Audio had an uncompromised 2 channel mix at 192kHz 24 Bit!
You might get your wish. When this was made...there was also rumor that the original mix has been converted to 24 bit 96 kHz. Ok so that's not 192, but hey.......The origianl team that put this together spent a ton of time trying to get it right.
Now I don't see much on here but for those without DVD-A players, there is also a Dolby Digital layer and a DTS layer. There probably wasn't room for a 24 bit 192 layer.
Hopefully this hum will not be present on the 24/96 2 channel DVD-Audio when it is officially released. Thanks for the info!

The whole point is that it's THE Parson's original quad mix.
If you ever heard a multi-channel high resolution program downconverted to 2 channel stereo you would understand why your comment is so mean.
:D
I need the space on my hard disc for my website. How long does it take to down load a whole hi resolution album with 160mb of RAM about 8 hours or so?
