I am thinking about getting an audio note dac 1.1, 2.1. Am I wasting my time ? Or is it half of what they say it is?
Follow Ups:
And as such unless something else comes along that shows me different my next cd player is going to be an Audio Note. But that also applies to their turntables, amps, and speakers.
. . . . it would be worth it to go and listen for yourself.Btw, there is a big difference between a well designed tube output stage and just adding a tube buffer to a solid state dac output stage. The tube buffer might add some flavor, but it does not take away the signature of the solid state stage in front of it.
Not to mention the oversampling methodology . . . . .
The Audionote is NON oversampling.
That was my point exactly.
It certainly wouldn't hurt you.
"Am I wasting my time ?"Yes, you are wasting your time thinking about getting one - so go get one and stop wasting your time. :0)
Best Regards,
Chris redmond.
After getting the DAC you could still be wasting your time thinking
why you didn't get it any earlier.-:)
