Hi:I'm about to "pull the trigger" on one. The only problem is that Guido Tent has been almost as slow as Audio Note (with their new one-box CDPs), in getting it to the market. Part of the problem was with his original cabinet supplier who produced cabinets with a sub-standard finish. A new cabinet supplier was found and the latest I heard was that he would be shipping at the end of this week.
The DIY player seems to have all the "right stuff": a pair of DACs run in NOS mode, low jitter design including TentLabs master clock, lots of attention paid to the power supply (a TentLabs specialty) and tube HV rectification and output stage. See the link below for more info. BTW, he's located in Eindhoven, The Netherlands.

So, none have been made/delivered? And he has many many angry customers who have already paid? Or has he been forthright (like AN) and NOT taken anyone's money? It seems like everyone that I can afford has 6-month backlogs these days!
"So, none have been made/delivered? And he has many many angry customers who have already paid? Or has he been forthright (like AN) and NOT taken anyone's money?"AFAIK, he hadn't shipped any as of last week. I can't answer the next two questions, but I can say that he would have taken my payment back in December. I put it on hold for several reasons, including payment method and exchange rate issues, but I have kept coming back to it.
Guido knows his stuff, and I can bet this thing sounds great. I ordered a Tentlabs XO module (component) from him in October (and paid for it... my choice) when he was in process of switching over to a new supplier (RoHs issue, IIRC). Didn't get it until February, but he kept me posted and delivered.
