Yes. CD-R is CD-R.

Well actually no! there are regular cd-r and there are audio dr-r. Audio cd-r can be used both in home cd recorders, ie stand alone models that look like a regular cd player, and in comptuer cd-r drives. The audio cd-r's have a code in them to only alow it to be copied to from an original cd, not a copy of one. Regular cd-r's can only record in computer type drives, both internal and externall. If you look at blank cd-rs in the dtore, you will see some labeled as audio cd-r's. They are higher in price due t a royalty that is collected for each audio cd-r to pay to the riaa for royalties due.
Mitsui Gold Audio Master is an Audio CD-R with pre-paid royalties. It can be used with regular (home) audio CD recorders as well as with computer drives.I second "audioengr" on the Mitsui. It does not alter the high frequencies as the Black CD-R does.
I didn't know Mitsui Gold Audio Master is an Audio CD-R with pre-paid royalties. That's good to know as most reg. CDR are not.
Thanks for the info.
