HelloThe MSB Link Dac i recently bought 2nd hand makes a "click" sound every time the sound source goes out. ie. when my cable box changes channels, when I cycle the input source, etc.
Is this clicking sound normal for this piece? Is there any way to disable?
Do other dacs do this clicking sound too? ie The Assemblage Dac2?
Follow Ups:
Your are losing digital lock when you change channels or source. The clicking is the analogue output mute relay. This is normal. If you here the click everytime a cd changes tracks (end of song) then jumper inside is set wrong.
If you have the manual, there is part about setting jumpers.
mine did that too, i think it's normal.

My Link Dac does the same thing if I disconnect/reconnect an input or unplug the transport and plug it back inI assume it is normal as it has never interfered with the operation of the DAC
