I have a mic that came with an AudioControl Richter Scale Crossover/EQ/ AnalyzerWould it be suitable for use with the Behringer?

I haven't even acquired the 2496 yet, but it's on my Christmas wish listThis free program looks like it might eliminate a lot of the trial and tribulations of getting the DPEQ settings right

I've got the DEQ2496 and the Behringer mike. If your mike is adaptable to an XLR plug, and you know the sensitivity, you can use it. You also need to figure out if your mike needs phantom power or not. The Behringer does. However, I'd be a little concerned about the mike from the Richter Scale. Since the richter Scale is strictly a low frequency analyzer, the mike doesn't need flat full range response. For $50, the Behringer is a steal for a 1/2" condenser mike and it's response is ruler flat to 20 kHz.
the output level of the mic. Look at the specs of the ECM8000 and the DEQ2496 to determine what Behringer uses so that you can appropriately match any other mic. I believe there's a section in the manual related to this issue.Cheers,

What I mean is a friend has a velodyne mic that he has used with the deq2496.
