What is a Chinese whisper?
Follow Ups:
...Steve
I recall that my 7th grade Language Arts teacher did NOT sit us alphabetically by last name. We would be reading some novel, and then she'd say a sentence regarding that novel to the person sitting in the first seat in the front row. That student was then instructed to pass the sentence verbatim to the student behind him or her. So by the time the sentence got through all 30 kids in the class, it was...well, it was no longer a sentence. It had morphed into a story so far off from what the original sentence was.As the majority of my class was ethnically Chinese, I don't think we understood the origin of "Chinese Whispers."
thanks for the chuckle.

Cheers,
Chinese whispers got no rhythm....."Gawd I've done that so many times.
Are you sure? I thought the 1984 hit was "Careless Whisper."
Of course, that's just the kind of thing you'd expect to happen
during a game of Chinese Whispers!I think Banarama did a cover of 'Careless' in 2001.
Factoid: In a 2006 poll for a program Britain's Favourite Break-up Songs , "Careless Whisper" was voted sixth.
