I have used Wadia players for true 'dual mono' in digital, but hadn't considered this techique for analogue. Looks like you beat me to the punch. But, never fear (or always fear), I am seeing my stack of quadrophonic records and thinking, hey....If only the Caliburn weren't so damn fragile and/or if I only weren't such a neat freak.
I just let the beat spin on one of mine while I scratch on the other.
