What if magazines swapped reviewers?
Follow Ups:

If it's not love, then it's the bomb that'll bring us together
...over the equipment their reviewers write about.Much of it is assigned by the editor. The rest must be approved before the review it.
In fact the equipment must be procured by the magazine and not by the reviewer.
The columnists have more leeway. Particularly when they are the biggest draw of the publication (next to the R.C.L.).
But the editor always has the last word.
Even though this is critics corner and I am predisposed to argue with you (or anyone!), I will say that I am basically just glad you started a new thread because it seemed like it had been days since there was one. And I wonder (just to argue a little) if Fremer or Tellig or someone just out and out wrote that some piece of equipment was utter worthless crap whether JA would let it through. But, never mind this branch of the tree, Im off to read what else is being said here. Thanks again.
