    It doesn't change the fact that Primedia is selling one year subscriptions to Stereophile for both new and renewing subscribers for $12.97 and has been doing so for years.

      And that this is the basis of those outside subsciption services charging that rate.
      Haven't you noticed that when you stay in a hotel room they list thee "regular" rates on the door and those are almost always much higher than what they do, have and will charge for the room.
      What's wrong with saying we'll give you two years for the one year regular rate vs. we'll give you one year for a discounted rate?
