These days, TAS writes 5 paragraphs that the component sounds good, sets a new price/performance standard and moves on. Booooooringggggg!!!!!

the cry was that magazines droned on in imaginary and invented verbiage to describe a product's sound and now when they are succinct in their expression, people complain about THAT.fergodsakes, make up your mind! find some issues of IAR if you want to be saturated with syllables.

...talk about long-winded positive reviews - I always thought they sounded like ad copy.
about an ARC preamp (sp10 or 11?), something like 'sell the house and buy this preamp'. well, i am enthusiastic about my arc but that was a BIT strong.

Hey, I remember that review. It was the Mission CD player. I bought one of those. Nice player in its day. I use it now as a boat anchor.
