One has to wonder exactly what you are doing here.

But rather is there anything to be heard :)
The well known bias that is used as an excuse to dismiss sighted listening tests will also be present in reverse for any listening test, even a blind one. Folks who don't WANT to hear anything, won't.I once did a listening test where the subject was a die-hard cable naysayer. When he thought he was listening to a cable swap, we actually reversed the polarity on ONE channel without changing cables, and he swore he could not hear a diffence between normal and one channel reversed! This was a relatively large sonic change, and yet, he was so determined NOT to hear anything, he could not even detect this level of change!
These kinds of results, where the subject is not hearing any changes, are totally inconclusive, and have absolutely no meaning, for this very reason.
No matter how open minded you THINK that you might be going into a listening test situation, it is impossible to eliminate this kind of bias, and it is no surprise to folks that it occurs this way.
... to miss the point, willfully. Given your "position," I ask again: what are you doing here?
