I had experience with Illuminati d-60 and new Stereovox HDVX2.
IMO Kimber is more natural when Stereovox have more dynamic and better top and soundstage.Do you know what digital cable is better than this two mentioned cables?
Follow Ups:
better?that is a tough one because better to me may not be the same better to you...
both nglazer and norm mention the sextet, and yes i own this cable and think that the sextet has what i humbly percieve to be the best deep and mid bass resolution from a digital cable i have ever heard...it also has a wonderful openess in the midband that makes it very clear and live, but it is pricey...
i also own the VD revelation and master digital cables (again pricey), i would place the master as the equal of the sextet from upper bass to lower treble, but with an advantage in soundstaging
the revelation is in another class, and the finest overall digital cable i have heard in my system, sounding so natural that i think i am stopping at this point in pursuing any more digital upgrades, and will now work again on all 3 of my vinyl rigs....
do you own both the d-60 and the hdvx2 currently? if so why not keep them and switch between the the 2 depending on what you plan on listening to for a music session....i have heard both cables and they are nice...
the price of admission to 'better' is steep
good luck
There are many, depending upon how much you want to spend. The best I have heard is the Stealth Sextet, followe closely by the Nordost Valhalla, PAD Dominus and Kharma Grand Reference. A more modestly priced winner is the AZ MC2.
Second best IMHO is the Cerious Technologies.
I have heard that AZ MC2 sounds very similarly to Illuminati?
