thanks, lummy.
Follow Ups:
When I worked for the Shorenstein Company, we had a newsletter called "Shore To Shore." Those of us at corporate HQ thought that was a clever name. However, we also realized we did not have a company mascot. This made us feel lame, whenever we participated in corporate events and challenges. So we brainstormed for suggestions, and the Seahorse was the winner of our informal poll."Lummy" is my nickname, so I simply became Lummy The Seahorse. Our phone/telecom person was 4'11", so she was The Little Seahorse, or TLS for short. Because of the nature of real estate, properties are built, destroyed, bought, and sold. Along with those transactions, we employees move on. Even though many of us (including yours truly) no longer work at Shorenstein, those were great times, and we'll always be the Seahorses!
...but how did it go to you being chosen to be 'the seahorse' and not 'bob the seahorse' or 'joan the seahorse'?
But I'm the only Lummy :-)
