Fellow inmates: Just had to pass along my recent "find". For me, and my system, this PC is really something special. Have been changing cables ans PC's for about a year now (mostly used). Have owned VD NiteII,TARA, The One & AZKrakatoa for digital source. Also tried (the cable co.) Elrod statement, Sh. Anaconda & others. Well, this little skinny PC has opened up my system like nothing before. I know it's an old cliche, but isn't it great to find an item like this that gives you a new appreciation for your other gear? Soundstage improved (esp.width) Bass texture & impact in another league and I now have a new defination of clarity. Have no interest in Michael Wolff's firm - just a huge fan of his new Bohica PC. Thanks for the posting.I've found that a parallel filter on the dedicated line, which would be similar to the Richard Gray inductor, or the Hammond 193L DIY inductor, but that I made myself from a 1 KVA filament transformer, works wonders.
Thanks for your opinion. It must be pretty good if it sounds better than the Elrod. Have you had an opportunity to try any of Mr. Wolff's previous power cord offerings?
Funny thing, most of the source cords sounded very similar on my rig.
Exception being a slight difference in perspective (depth)To be fair,
all the tested cords sounded really good, incl. the Elrod. I can only
guess that the power supply in the 861"likes" what the Bohica does-
resulting in the very noticable improvement I'm hearing. Have not tried earlier Wolff cords. The grapevine tells me that the Bohica is
superior to his earlier efforts, but I, of course, don't know.
