I have found practically no information or reviews on these. I think they interest me because the Black Mountain IC's i have at the moment are some kind of mix of Au,Cu and Ag.These are the only IC's i've used so i have no concept of how different metals might affect the sound in my system and i guess these Gabriel's look on the surface to me that they could take the strengths of the three metals and bring them to a more advantageous level over the single 22 AWG single strand wire in these BMC Pinnacles. Having an all SS system running the highly detailed and resolving Opus 21 direct to the amp I went with an affordable IC that promised to sound less harsh than an all Ag cable might. So has anyone given these any real listening time who can report on their impressions?
Follow Ups:
The latest cable trends appear to be in alloyed wire (not plated). Siltech has been the pioneer in this area. A true alloyed wire typically yields better sonic performance but at a high cost. My latest findings of the Pure Note Titaniums reveals what a palladium-silver wire can present sonically. There are many others doing gold-silver, etc. and all have their sonic attributes. I do wonder if most of these claims (especially in the lower priced products) are valid or just "bandwagon marketing spin." Best to try and learn.
They've been mixing exotic aluminums for many years.
even microscopically and interfere with current integrity or so i think the theory goes.I liked the DacT Dual Connect solid gold series till i read the 6 moons review which tempered what enthusiasm was building.I used to live on a Gold Mine out in California no i have had Gold Fever and it may predispose me to thinking it must be something I'd like in an Interconnect.
