What's some decent RCA plugs that can terminate 89207?...And before anyone tells me this cable isn't for single ended apps, let me explain. For a long time, I was using a Jensen output tranny Isomax unit, to drive long lengths of the Belden to my power amp, which has XLR (along with RCA) inputs.
Recently changed thing around a bit, this time tried out the preferred method of driving unbalanced to balanced, as per the literature at the Jensen web site. That is, using a RCA to XLR adapter at the source, and an input transformer at the amp. Now I'm getting a cleaner signal than the old setup. Is it balanced or unbalanced? Who knows, all I know is it sounds better. :)
So now I want to take out the Hosa RCA to XLR adapter I temporarily inserted at the preamp end of the Belden cable, to get rid of another connection, and solder rca plugs right on the 89207. Any suggestions?

If so, then I need to decide on copper or silver(ouch!)
Ordered WBT Nextgens Silvers...
Markertek.comSells all you need at a great price, its where the pros shop.
Thanks, I've actually used them quite often in the past. Have a whole box load of diy interconnects I made years ago from their Canare "F" RCAs and star quad stuff. Matter of fact that’s where I got some of the Jensen Isomax units I have.Since the 89207 is billed as a digital cable, they would probably want to match it up with something 75 ohm, video not audio rated. I'll check out their web site.
Was kind of looking for something more "boutique" (aka audiophile approved) :)
Since Jensen states that it is best to attach the shield to a chassis ground, instead of the RCA barrel, I guess the plug doesn't have to accept the whole outer covering. Would look like hell though.
