I just tried the Harmonic Tech speaker cables in my system and was very impressed. I am wondering if there are any other cables that I should try for about the same amount of money (USD 1200 for a 10 foot pair)that may be better. Any suggestions?
Follow Ups:
I have a pair of NBS Master III's that I can confidently say are better than Harmonic Tech cables.I have them for sale now as I am now using a bi-wired speaker and went to a bi-wired speaker cable. If you want a speaker cable that provides the best midrange, wide soundstage, quiet/black background (air and space around vocals and instruments), and great control of mid-low bass, these are the speaker cables that you want.
I have not found another speaker cable that has the midrange magic that these speaker cable give.
See my reviews on the Pure Note Paragons. Up there with the best but for fewer dollars.
I am using Pure Note Enhanced Paragons at the moment. I found that in my system, the Harmonic Tech Pro 9 sounds smoother in the highs and images much better. However, the Pure Notes place instruments on the soundstage better than the HT.
