Why dont you ask the yahoos at PSAudio that question. They sell a cable with a removeable ground pin and think its perfectly safe. Idiots they are.

"Why dont you ask the yahoos at PSAudio that question. They sell a cable with a removeable ground pin and think its perfectly safe. Idiots they are"It IS perfectly safe!!! One has the option of removing the GND pin in case of a system ground loop hum instead of using a "cheater plug" which would degrade the benefits of a high performance power cable.
Cheers,
You have zero knoweledge of why it is not safe. It is the most unsafe thing the average joe could do in the system. Your an idiot if you think otherwise. There are perfectly safe ways of dealing with ground loops and thats not one of them. Why do you think companies use them?Just to screw with audiophilles?
Aren't you supposed to be in a cage right now?You might appear a little more credible if you had some valid arguments within your post/s. Who knows what part of Al's post you are even disagreeing with.
Some lessons in acceptable human behavior seem appropriate here.
I never thought I would hear myself saying that but dam dude.....
............
So I am a troll because I post corect safe info? You are an idiot. Removing the third pin on gear designed for it is unsafe and you will find not one reputable electrical guideling that says it isnot.
...your the one coming in here calling everybody who responded to this post "idiots". That does NOT introduce yourself to everyone on this website in a friendly manner. It makes U appear as a troll in my book.U come in here with that attitude, you will get the same in return.
If U disagree with something someone said, there are better ways to address your concerns/opinions than starting off with "your an idiot"
Have a nice life sir,
This one is to sanitized.
I couldn't find one single electrical safety orgizination
that's says their safe.
There frowned upon everywhere, except for trouble shooting purposes
except for the audiophile community.GTF
BTW I use one but I am fully aware of the risks.
