Perhaps it's already well known 'round here, but I thought this Wes Phillips news item was interesting. I'm not in any way affiliated with AudioQuest - haven't, don't currently and probably won't ever own their cables - but I'm sure glad they called Monster on their bullshit.

Follow Ups:
Has anyone listened to these two cable designs? does charging the dielectric really work (or whatever it does)?? I can only wonder as i don't know anyone who would pay for these cables..........someone (monster) sueing Disney.....it's usually the other way around!
"does charging the dielectric really work (or whatever it does)?? "Yup, sure does and is quite beneficial in lowering the noise floor and tightening the bass of the signal passing thru the cables.
A high resolution system is not needed to hear the DBS attributes BUT the benefits that DBS provides via AQ or other cables that utilize DBS are clearly revealed in a high resolution system.
Cheers,
Now for bose...

Good to see. I would not buy products from either company - but Monster Cable need to be brought down a notch. Take that Noel.

trying to take over the world. Literally. This goes beyond aggressive business tactics into the bizarre. Sue Disney over a title to a film? Sheesh.

my system really came together and is giving me excellent sound since I went to AQ cables. Excellent quality and sound for a decent price.
