Hi!
I have questions:
It's recommended (best sound) the use of tweeters in dipole configuration?
In the normal mounting of the Gemini tweeters with plastic backs uses a wooden disc to clamp the tweeter to the front-facing horn. Removing the rear cover from the tweeters results in a different clamping approach to the front-facing horn, and the dome of tweeter stays loose.
Why to fix the rear dome of tweeter with the magnet? It’s possible with glue? Thanks,
Antonio

Hi Robert and driguy!I have wood “donuts” to fix the magnet with the horn. No problem!
Bat, my problem is to fix the diaphragm (yellow dome) to the magnet after remove the back-covers. Why? It's stays loose!
You can send me a foto?

Hi Antonio, the sound with dipole tweeters is best but also requires 100% harmony to the electronics, cables and sources to get a balanced sound because the opened tweeter is more energetic.
Tony`s solution is the most elegant, the easiest way to make the tweeters dipole is to remove the back- covers, saw them that only a "ring" lasts which can be re- mounted to fix the diaphragm. The magnet then can be pressed to the wooden horn by using big washers. Please don`t use glue to fix the driver on the horn, direct- coupling sounds better.Regards

Hi Antonio, when you remove the back- covers you can saw them to open them and then you can screw them again to fix the yellow diaphragm. I am sorry, i have no pic yet, i try to send one within the bext days (i have to pick up my camera from another place first) but this method to open the backside of the tweeters is very easy and you simply clamp the diaphragm with the same parts and screws like before.

Hello Antonio,
I have made little wooden clamps to hold down the tweeter assembly. They use the same screws that were used to hold the plastic cover on. Please contact me directly via email so that I can get your address. I will mail a set (6) to you at no charge if you are in the US. If you prefer I can take a photo and email it to you directly so that you may make them yourself if you prefer. BTW, I have tried several glues but none really worked well at all.
