I'm excited to be trying the Mard&Daniel Ruby speakers you may have heard about, the tiny monitors with the large technological breakthroughs. Problem is, they're a very tough load, so:I'm looking for recommendations for amps, integrated would be even better, that can provide 100wpc (200 would be better) at 3-6ohms, tube or SS, hopefully <$1000.
The speakers are said to exceptionally clear and revealing, so I'd like an amp that leans toward the richer, denser, fuller side, but not sloppy of course.
Follow Ups:
One that doubles output power for each 4 ohm drop in impedance from 8-4 and 4-2 ohms. So, if you shop around there will be many used 100 watters in this category: Bryston, Musical Fidelity, Exposure, Arcam, Rotel, and many more that you can find for around $1000.
Right, so I'm looking for recommendations in this category, amps/ints that are on the richer, fuller side of things, even "tubey" if you will.
That's not my territory. OLder Exposure integrteds are musical.

that could be just the ticket. The power amp version is $1k.
One obvious choice would be the NAD C272 integrated. Given your needs and budget you would seem to have few choices and the NAD is very good.
I agree. In the under $1K new price range, he could not do better. IMO.
