Hi Redline,Once I get home I can dig up some info for you. I think I've got original lit/owners manuals and some reviews.
Which version are you looking at, the black, rack-mountable with silver front handles or the black faceplate with red lettering and wood side panels?
I have a rack mountable Series 70 amp and matching Preamp Two in storage. One channel in the amp is down though. I'd like to get it fixed and use it in a secondary system. Maybe that'll be a good summer project.
I'll follow up in this thread either tonight or tomorrow morning.

They are a pair of the black one's w/ wood grain sides. Thanks for replying
Hey Redline,I came up empty in my files here at home. The info must be in a box in my storage unit. The good news is that I'm heading there on Sunday anyway, so I'll look for them then. With luck I'll find the documentation I mentioned and scan it in at work on Monday.
Thanks! Picking them up today FINALLY for mighty reasonable
Hi Redline,Well, I finally tracked down my Amber documentation and spent some time scanning it in. They have been saved as JPEGS. There's quite a bit here (original lit, spec sheets, tech sheets, Stereophile review, Absolute Sound review, Audio Critic review, New York Times write up and more) so I'll probably zip them into a folder. If you hit me with your email address I can get it over to you.
I hope you can read these alright as the resolution isn't perfect. I've also included the info I had on the Amber Preamp Two just in case you're interested.
Also, if anybody else is interested, ping me and I'll hook you up!
Thanks for the comprehensive info! Got them fired up and running mono bridged. They really do sound incredible, especially for vinyl applications w/ my Thorens TD-320 using a Ortofon OM 100. The Perreaux SA3 preamp that I am using complements the Ambers well. I actually like it better then my Krell KRC-3
