I received one from RHC Trading about one week ago. It sounds good to me with VMPS RM2 Neo loudspeakers. I am not able to compare the sound to any mini T amp. I did notice more bass or less bass control than the amp it replaces.I can say that my sample's auto on/off does not function well. I was watching a DVD of a old television western and the amp shut off automatically.
Another minor thing is that this amp inverts phase. I connect this amp to the front pre outs of a Yamaha HT receiver. The results from the auto setup told me that the front speakers were connected out of phase. Simply reversing the connection at the amp corrected the issue.

Thanks for the reply.Any additional experiences or comments now that you've had the amp for a while longer?
I'm don't understand what you meant by this sentence:
"I did notice more bass or less bass control than the amp it replaces."
The bass is more pronounced to me, compared to the Perreaux E160i that it replaces. The Audiosource amplifier does sound good to me. The Ebay seller does offer a 30 day return if you are not happy (you'll need to read their return terms).I did order a second one (it was just delivered today) to allow me to biamplify my speakers.
I did notice another "oddity". The amplifier does invert absolute phase. To correct this I reversed the speaker wires at the amplifier speaker terminals.
Thanks for the info on this amp. I just ordered one. I've been reading the documents at Tripath.com. They do note on pg 5 in a note under Figure 3 that "Note: The TA0104A is an inverting amplifier". If this is true, I wonder why they didn't just reverse the internal wires at the speaker terminals.I'm also thinking about replacing the input caps to see if this improves the sound. I've been reading on the 41Hz DIY forum about the mods that people have made to their builds. This should be a cheap improvement. Since I don't have the amp yet, I'll have to wait and see if the input caps are the standard electrolytics.
This amp seems very nice. I can't wait to try them out on my MMGWs.
