Sorry it really doesn't work that way for the most part. I would have figured you would know that by now.Throwing coloration after coloration is not the answer as they are unlikely to compensate for each other due to the fact that the mechanisms for the problems are not the same. Instead you are likely to end up with a sound that is the worst of both as both the amps problems and the speakers problems now come through the speakers.
I know I'm slow and lacking in PRaT but...?
The old Conrad Johnson Tube amps, old Harman Kardon Citation Tube Amps, vintage Fisher Tube amps, etc, etc, had a thick, warm lower midrange.
