Thanks for the info. I'm familiar with Blue Circle and find it to be a fine piece of equipment but power-wise I'd be heading in the wrong direction from what I'm trying to accomplish.

I recently had a NAD C370 and compared it to my Denon PMA-880R and the sound difference was hardly noticeable (the NAD was better though), so I sold the NAD to make some cash.
I recently acquired a Musical Fidelity A100-X which is a decided improvement over the NAD and the Denon (which isn't saying much, but the Denon had it's qualities) IMO. Plenty of power for my ESS towers.
Do you have a link to the Musical Fidelity A-100X? I can't seem to find it on their website.
It may be the same as the A100 but I could never find out more on it- some sites in Germany and other countries have some info but the translation is poor. Got it cheap on eBay and love it.
