An amp produces one watt at 2.83 volts/8ohm at one meter. What voltage does the amp show at the outputs to produce 3 watts/8ohms? I am not looking at DB levels, sence they vary with speaker design. Thanks
Follow Ups:
Power equals V(squared)/R where R = load resistance. So 3 = V(s)/8, and 24 = V(s), and the squareroot of 24 is 4.899.
