I don't own either but I know both amps use MOSFETs. If you like the MOSFET sound, you might also consider the Jolida 1501RC.I own a 1501 and think it's superb with excellent build quality. It's a hybrid with a tube preamp and a MOSFET amp section.
Follow Ups:
The DNA 1 use bipolar transistor in the output stage, not mosfet.
I had good times with the DNA1, was an incredible amp for the money. You can read the review on Stereophile where it was compared with the Krell KSA250 (http://stereophile.com/solidpoweramps/520/).
Regards.
While a very fine amp, the DNA-1 was no KSA-250, regardless of how Stereophile wanted to package the review. You are right, I am no Jack Kennedy either
I stand corrected. ....Thanks.
Hmm I've read quite a bit about Jolida amps. Their pure tube amps are a steal for the money. I see there is even an aftermarket mod company doing these too. But, I don't know if this is just one particular model. But I allways read negative comments on their hybrid models. There is many of them used on AudioGon every day.

I've read many good reviews of the 1501 as well. There are many more Brystons for sale than Jolida hybrids on A'gon.
