"Selling local products actually is the only way to make some money because on many of the US brand the price here are so cheap (profit to the dealer very very low!!!!!!!) that you cannot imagine."So, you can sell Cayin locally, cannot you? If Chinese tube amp makers let you sell locally in China, then the amps will flood on eBay from those who are only willing take $50 profit. Amp makers for sure loss international market. I just cannot imagine you will be allowed sell locally in China (maybe only for few specific models).
"I've experience with some Chinese products (Primaluna, Cayn, Aurum Cantus) and I can only say that for the money are extremely good, but they have a long way to go to know how let those beauty (externally) sounds good (at least to me). It's a matter a culture and experience. "
Can you explain the correlation between " sounds good " and your "a culture and experience"? If you are shanghai, I guess you have to being eating chinese food while listening a Chinese amp, right? LOL
Follow Ups:
I will answer to you as follow:
1) can you sell Cayn, locally: Yes I can, but I don't want
2)amp on Ebay: there is no way to control this because you can buy here at very low prices, but I'm not sure that are on the same quality of the one you can buy on your country by the authorized distributor. Some manufacurers also sell to the domestic market with different brands or with different features
3)Culture and experience: yes, both are needed. Culture in the art of listening and experience applied to the equipment. In Italy we don't have the same experience in making hifi equipment as in the US or England and only very recently we're able to make some good products but if we talk about wines or cheese it's a different story! And, finally, I enjoy eating Chinese food but not listening to a Chinese amp.
while listening to a Chinese amp and I swear music sounds a lot better. You ought to try it. (Hahaha! I'm just kidding, I just couldn't resist.) Best with your business, I'm just glad more people are turned onto hi end audio and staying away from the dreaded IPOD!(Uh oh ... here comes the lynching from those sour APPLES!)
I will try, drinking Chinese wine too!! (not so bad, really!).
Thank you WindowCleaner!
Cheers
