Hi,
me and my home theater are simple. My speakers are PSB Gold.My old amp blew a channel a year ago and it just blew another one.
I want a 200 watt amp that can handle the 2.8 ohn impendance dip of my speakers for a about a decade without whining, smoking or any of the
other bad habits some amps get.My old dealer is talking up Anthem. I am thinking about getting some used
B+K monoblocks off Audiogon. At this point I'd even consider Adcom, but I
am not sure their 200 watt amp has what it takes, I might need one of the bigger ones.
Follow Ups:
Check out Odyssey
,.. but they had earned a reputation for not being overly good sounding..
Try Threshold or Hafler big ones if you don't mind older amps.
Check those amps:

While I need to reconnect with this friend, he was driving huge Snell speakers with them and there was no problem and it sounded rather good. He was fussy and complained about transformer hum and Sonic Frontiers replaced the transformer.
