...who have invested relatively little time and cash yet are still greatly satisfied by the musical experience provided by their systems? I really think I've got a nice, musical system that truly communicates and it cost me well under $10,000 over the years. It's certainly not the ultimate, but it makes music.

...some people are just restless and always wondering if things can be a few percent better. I have one friend who has a great time constantly tweaking his system but he still really enjoys it at any given moment. With him the tweaking just seems to be an integral part of the hobby but as far as I can tell he doesn't sweat stuff.Since his system has risen well above a base level of musicality I think he's really just messing around with details for the fun of it. I can't say for sure that's how he sees it but that's my take on it.
