In a way it's a double-edged sword for me. It would be nice to know that my hearing was sensitive enough to quickly pickup up on the rolloff, but then I'd hate to miss all that high frequency information.Any chance that you remember what issue? Or roughly around when it came out?
Follow Ups:
I don't recall the issue, but I'd guess it was within the last year. I'm away from home right now so I can't check. The review was quite postive by the way.I thought the roll-off was interesting not so much from a sonic perspective. To my ears the amp sounded quite good. But it was interesting in an age when solid state amps often extent to 50k or 100k + or - 1 or 2 db that an amp should roll off so quickly.
I searched their site and got nothing, although they hardly have a complete listing. Oh well, when you get home if you could post the issue I'd really appreciate it.Either way, like you say, this is one hell of an amplifier. And it's sound is so incredible that I wouldn't trade it for anything (right now). In one room or another, I can see this amp in my house for a very long time.

Even if this were true, I don't know that it would bother me. Go get a test cd that plays tones at these high frequency and you will see that there isn't much useful information at these frequencies anyway. If you enjoy the amp (it is a very nice amp), I wouldn't worry about it.
