If your turntable mat slips...

Posted by JerryS on June 16, 2022 at 16:21:13:

The Acoustic Signature Montana Neo turntable is left running throughout the listening session, mainly because it takes 35-40 seconds to come up to speed after the platter is stopped. Records are changed while the platter is spinning. The leather mat would often move/rotate during record changes, obscuring the gold-plated Silencer inserts.

Here is a solution to this minor annoyance. This adds small circles of the equivalent of Post It Notes® dry tacky/sticky stuff to the bottom of the leather mat. No more slipping! And no reside on the platter. Cost <$5.
