Need help identifying a vintage tuner
Posted by mark74okc on March 17, 2017 at 18:10:35:
So this is the situation. My father passed away about 3 years ago and some of his vintage hi-fi equipment was donated away.. ( I know stupid stupid) I still have the Record player, and his Nakamichi tape deck. I had to search the internet to find the pair of B&O Beovox S series speakers. Shipping across country was expensive! All I have left to find is the Tuner. I have a vague memory of what it looks like from my child hood and a little bit of when I saw it at the house not long before he died. Anyway I have a picture uploaded. It is not the best as it is an old photograph that I had to blow up a little bit.
From what I can tell and remember it has a large tuning dial, I think the dial indicator it self inside was a circular one or half moon shape that spun. It had I think a small rectangular push button power button on the top left I think. For some reason Yamaha keeps sticking out but I just can not find any Tuners that were made by them that resemble this. I am not sure the year of the Tuner. I want to say it is a late 70s model. It was also encased in wood.
Thank you in advance for any help.
