The transformer

Posted by sanman on January 2, 2017 at 19:04:01:

Based on where the wires went, I am theorizing that the ac side is on the right, perhaps the red and brown wires...anyway, I assume I should test this beast before offering it for sale ot trade.
I have never tested a transformer, but i looked up the basic procedure. I have not found the color coding for the wires and am no good at reading schematics. Can someone more experienced direct me in the right direction...I have a tech friend who might check it for 10-15 dollars if it is too tricky, but I do have a multimeter.

Ps the receiver did not blow the main fuse when I initially plugged it in, it did nothing.
