Appreciate your comment. I'm thinking the same way about the NE5532. Lots of discussion about them and opamps in general.

When my Dac first came out a reviewer even questioned it's use of NE5532 in the build. That was 10+ years ago and he still uses the dac in one of his reference systems after all that time. That's why I'm keeping my fingers crossed I can bring my Dac back to life.
