Furutech 104-D Update.
Posted by Cougar on October 7, 2020 at 14:00:15:
Today I went to Lowes to pick up some things and went and looked at some of the outlet covers they had. I saw the Brainerd Satin Nickel outlet cover, it's little bit larger than a normal outlet cover. This thing is pretty heavy for its size.
I removed the Furutech 104-D outlet cover and put the Brainerd cover in. Yes, everything is back like how it was before I put the Furutech 104-D in. All the dynamics, upper, lower end plus no tizziness like with the original outlet cover. All the instruments sound real and have that lifelike sound back. One thing that is different from both the original and Furutech is that there is a little more meat to the sound plus a slight warmer sound than the Furutech and the original outlets didn't have. I know it sounds crazy what I'm saying but that is what I have been hearing since I changed the outlet today.
btw, the organ is back sounding meaty with more real sound of the horn inside the Leslie spinning. That was taken away with Furutech.
I will leave this in for now since, I'm happy with the results. The best part was the Brainerd outlet was just a little over $4.
I hope this helps others!
