Mcintosh MR 71

Any owners here who did the Moddaderi upgrade to their MR 71?

I've read the testimonials on the website and just like to read some more current opinions.

A recent acquisition for a very clean and fair priced unit is arriving tomorrow.
While I've heard these units and will enjoy it stock, any real audio geek ALWAYS has curiosity about hot rodding even great gear.

My true desire is a 10B or the REL Precedent. Just not going to happen unless I stumble across an estate sale, and the widower is about to throw it the the garbage since no one is interested!

If it is all that the claims and pics indicate, I've got a recently cleaned/tuned, clean faceplate, nice case unit which subjectively, for a fraction of the cost approaches sound quality of
my unobtanium tuners.
