Mullard vs. Amperex EL84 for audio amplifier?

In audio applications, does the nod go to Mullard or Amperex Holland? Assuming 1960's vintage for both.
And I'm also interested in a dark horse, too: Toshiba. But I assume Mullard and Amperex are better sonically than Toshiba?
