Unknown capacitors
Posted by valvesonly on August 13, 2012 at 18:52:59:
I have two capacitors I cannot identify on the net or archives. Have not removed to test as I want to know what I am testing.
Both used in tube amps.
First is in the power amp. Looks like blue epoxy caps marked as LCR MKT 10N K630. I get LCR is manufacturer, MKT, 10N is a polyester ,01uF cap. Is the K630 then 10% 630VDC. I have never seen a K in front.
Second is in the pre amp and is associated with a 104 M. This cap is RMC 2. The 2 could be a Z, These are small yellow and not sure if mica, ceramic, or film.
