Sony Reel to Reel decks

Posted by spindoctor on December 6, 2016 at 19:20:27:

I have a Sony deck that was given to me a few years ago. I have it in my studio system where it is my go to for listening. I haven't recorded with it. I really like this deck yet I get the impression that Sony equipment is not particularly valued. Can you help me with this issue?
