Thanks for writing this, Paul! No, I definitely wouldn't buy speakers without hearing them in person. But because the nearest Vandersteen dealer is 170 miles away, I wanted to ask about the "sweet spot" issue before taking the drive. And since my room is only 13 x 15, maybe the 2CE is the wrong speaker for me.
