Kef LS50 Wireless II

I've reported on these speakers recently. This is a brief update. Fellow inmates, understand that I'm not trolling or pushing product. The phone app was recently upgraded so that now the music files on my computer link to the speakers. In comparing the audio quality of wireless streaming to a CD is pretty damn close. I give the nod to the CD. (Maybe I feel obliged to think that because I have a Yamaha CD-S2100 CDP along with expensive interconnects.)

I've been into high-end audio for more than 20 years. Like other audioholics, I spent a lot of money chasing after the next incremental improvement in my system until I had $20K of equipment in my den. I hadn't anticipated a life changing event and retiring to a 1 BR apartment. It's all the more satisfying that $2,500 buys such a versatile great sound system. The Meta upgrade has really stepped up Kef's game.
